Northern Kāhu are seeking applications for a variety of roles for the inaugural 2022 GJ Gardner Homes Tauihi Basketball Aotearoa season.
Tauihi 2022 is set to begin on June 29th with the Kāhu away on July 3rd in their first game of the season taking on the Southern Hoiho. With the franchise having already announced the signing of Head Coach Jody Cameron as well as the player signing of Micaela Cocks & Ashleigh Kelman-Poto, the focus is now on rounding out the coaching staff and front office.

Northern Kāhu Assistant Coach
Join the Kāhu in our inaugural season as an Assistant Coach under current Tall Ferns Assistant Coach and former Olympian, Jody Cameron. We are looking for an individual with a passion for the development of female athletes on and off the floor with a minimum of representative/secondary school coaching experience.
Summary of role:
+ Coach term: May 1 – August 31
+ Responsible to: Northern Kāhu Head Coach
+ Experience required: Minimum rep/high school, preferably NBL/WBC/Junior National Team

Northern Kāhu Development Coach
Join us in our innaugural season as on court Development Coach with the Norther Kāhu roster players. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about player skill development and get a kick out of helping others improve.

+ Responsible to: Northern Kāhu Head Coach & Assistant Coaches
+ Experience required: Minimum rep/high school and/or appropriate skill development

Northern Kāhu Events Intern
Are you looking to gain experience in the fast paced events industry. Joins us in our inaugural season as we look to provide a hugely entertaining game night experience in Auckland. This role is perfect for a university student someone wanting to take the next step in the event/live entertainment industry or if you have a an attention to detail.

+ Experience required: None, just a can-do attitude and an eye for detail
