Rebecca Moors

 

Westlake Girls High School and North Harbour forward Rebecca Moors joins Northern Kāhu for the 2023 Tauihi season.

 

She was a member of the Westlake Girls High School team that completed a memorable triple in 2022. In addition to capturing a first Secondary Schools National Championship the team remained undefeated winning the Auckland Premier title and the Zone I Premiership.

 

In June she was one of ten New Zealand athletes that attended the 13th Basketball Without Borders Asia Camp in Abu Dhabi. The BWB Asia Camp assembles 80 top high school aged athletes from the Asia/Pacific region with Rebecca having the honour of being selected to the Girl’s All-Star team.

 

Rebecca comes from a talented basketball family with all six siblings having represented North Harbour.

 

17 year-old Rebecca will play in Tauihi ’23 as an amateur to preserve her American collegiate eligibility.
